  • 1.5 Kg White Potatoes
  • 650 g cod (or any white fish ) can use less if prefered
  • 100 g cheddar cheese
  • 1 tube Cheese and chive Primula®
  • 2 tbsp Chives
  • 100 grams Cornflakes may need a little more
  • 100 grams breadcrumbs may need a little more
  1. Cook the Cod in the oven in baking tray with a small amount of water for approx 30-40 minutes

  2. Once fully cooked flake it up using a fork

  3. Peel the potatoes

  4. Cut the potatoes into chunks and wash ready for boiling

  5. Boil the potatoes for 20 minutes or until they are soft enough to mash

  6. grate the cheese while the potatoes boil

  7. Once the potatoes are boiled drain them thoroughly and mash them

  8. Once fully mashed, add the full tube of Primula® Cheese to your mixture

  9. add the grated cheese 

    Add Chives
  10. add the chives and the fish

    Add your Flaked Atlantic Cod
  11. mix everything thoroughly

  12. transfer to a bowl and allow to stand until cooled 

    Add to Large glass bowl and cool until at room temp.
  13. Crush the corn flakes 

    Obliterate corn flakes
  14. Beat 2 eggs

    whisk egg
  15. Mix together crushed cornflakes and breadcrumbs and place on a high sided plate

    Combine Corn Flakes & Breadcrumbs
  16. Form the cakes with approx 140g of filling by rolling in your hands

    Portion your filling
  17. Dunk each cake in the beaten egg, then cover in the corn flake coating

    Coat Filling with whisked egg
  18. place coated cakes on a baking tray ready to bake, pop in the oven for 20 minutes 

    Add to a frylight sprayed baking tray
  19. serve 2 to a plate with fries and ketchup

    Portioned out final product
